In the subject Interface Design an application for a sewing machine was created. A screen is integrated in the sewing machine and is intended to support the consumer in operating it. The sewing machine is kept very simple and differs from conventional products. The engine is behind the display. The spool is inserted in the housing and the thread is to be threaded behind the machine.
The model is handy and is made of light plastic so that the machine can be easily transported. The display is mounted on the front and is therefore in the consumer's field of vision.

Sewing Machine Interface
The interface is navigated by a tap bar. In the first menu item, the consumer can define the basic settings and add them to favorites. This means that the user does not have to set the values every time and can select the pre-saved favourites. The third menu item contains a sewing preview, where the seam is projected onto the fabric. In addition, the needle is shown enlarged so that more precise sewing is possible. There is also a help button for beginners. Various questions are answered here for the consumer, such as suggestions for thread size or instructions for sewing buttonholes. The start button is integrated into the interface and is therefore available at all times.
